INTERNATIONAL ETCHELLS CLASS ASSOCIATION NEWS LIST NEWS ARTICLE Dec 08, 2005 - Jim Annand Dear Friends, It is my unfortunate duty to inform you of the passing of Governor, former Class Chairman and Honorary Life Member, Jim Annand. Jim had been in failing health for some time. In the last few days he went down hill quickly. Jim was a moving force within our Class for more than thirty years and served the Class both in Australia and Internationally. His passion for the sport of sailing, Etchells and most things Australian is legend. I shall miss his wise council, some of which I received just a few weeks ago by phone. Fellow Governor, Ian Kingsford-Smith has been an almost constant companion to Jim and his devoted wife, Joy.
