2012 World Championship: Sydney here they come

The world’s finest one-design sailors will converge on Sydney in February 2012 for the Etchells World Championship. Conducted by Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron in conjunction with the Sydney Etchells Fleet, racing will be held on the open waters of Manly Circle.

The publication of the Notice of Race heralds for many Etchells sailors the start of the road to the Sydney Worlds, to be held from 16th to 25th February.

2012 New Zealand Nationals

9 boats participated in the two day regatta in Auckland. The crew of Alastair Gair, Derek Scott, Dave Ridley and Rhys Johnston on Valsheda finish at the top of the results.

2011 Cowes Week Report

A small but enthusiastic fleet of 11 Etchells enjoyed fabulous racing at Cowes Week 2011, with strong winds accompanied by mostly sunny and warm conditions, and, as ever with the fleet circulating in close company.
