Message from the Chairman - Spring 2008

Your Class is cranking!  The ISAF Plaque for hull 1381 has recently been issued!  It’s been an active season this year with record turn outs for Class C events.  Our congratulations to Bill Hardesty in USA 979 for back to back wins in both the Mid-winters East and Mid-winters West.  These hotly contested races were packed with talent in a prelude to this year’s Worlds in Chicago.  And for Chicago, they are expecting a record turn out.  This wonderful city in America’s mid-west boasts great restaurants, bars and excellent sailing on Lake Michigan.  The Chicago Yacht Club and their team do an excellent job on putting on the event as evident in their hosting of the North Americans several years ago.
